Looting
The server is a 5x multiplier server, but may be a bit different from other servers you've seen before.
Loot is multiplied, but random. We use the vanilla loot tables, so you won't see any strange items, only the amounts will be different. Specifically, everything will be between 1-5x of the original spawn rate.
So, on average, the loot multiplier is 2.5x.
Gathering on the other hand is entirely different. Check out the next page!
5X / Levels
In this aspect, we are completely different from other 5X servers.
Your gathering multipliers are based on your levels. You can see your current multiplier levels on the bottom right of the screen, check out the screenshot below.
As you harvest wood, mine ores, skin animals(or people), pick up and harvest items, or craft different stuff, you gain experience points. The current progress is shown as a percentage on the right of the bar.
Your current multiplier level can be seen on the left. Every player starts with 1.2x, and with every level up, you gain an additional 0.2x until you reach level 20, which gives you the 5x multiplier for that given category.
Crafting time works similarly, you start off with 5% faster crafting times and work your way up till 100%, which means you can craft all items instantly.
If you die, you lose one level from all skills.
If you reach the maximum level in all skills, the panel on the bottom right will only show you the multipliers, there will be no percentage shown. At that point, you can also hide the panel fully with /statsui.
Wipes
We follow the official wipe schedule of Rust: first Thursday of each month.
The next wipe will be .
Most scheduled wipes are map wipes only, which means that your researched blueprints and your levels will remain intact. Map wipes will wipe the whole map and your inventory.
Blueprint wipes (can also be called full wipes) will only happen in case Rust forces every server to wipe blueprints. This may happen once each year, but when it happens is unknown.
Faster Gameplay
The server is not only 5x in gathering and looting, there are a few more areas of gameplay that have been sped up.
Because of the night skip vote, in-game events like the Cargo Ship, Airdrops happen more frequently, as their timers are tied to in-game time passed.
Both smelting ores and mixing potions are 5x as fast, while keeping the same resource requirements. Horses also drop dungs 5x as fast, so once per hour, for all farming enthusiasts such as myself.
Researching is also sped up with each research only taking one second to complete - this has been less important since the arrival of the Tech Tree, but it's still there.
Of course, storing 5x as many items would be impossible without stack size changes, so we changed the maximum for all items to 999,999 items per stack. Items with durability, of course, will not stack.
Comfort Functions
There are a few plugins that help you with your gameplay to eliminate boring tasks like traveling from one place to another, having trouble with inventory space, building, destroying and upgrading and so on.
If you are looking for teleport commands, all information is on a separate tab on the left!
If you want to upgrade (or downgrade) your buildings, you can do it all at once with the command /up<1-4>. 1 is Wood, 2 is Stone, 3 is Metal and 4 is Armored.
If you only want to see how many materials you need, put away the materials and type the command. That way, the plugin will not use up your resources to actually upgrade the building.
Warning! Do not use the command if you want to switch from or to a building skin. The plugin doesn't support building skins. You need to upgrade to building skins manually. If you accept losing your building skin, you can use /up to upgrade from it.
Elevators do not need power and can go as high as 20 floors. They also have a numbered floor display that you can use to precisely set a floor to travel to.
You can remove anything placed by yourself with /remove. Some deployables need full health to be able to be /removed, you might have to repair them before you can destroy them.
Teleportation
Teleportation has multiple options on the server.
/home - You can add up to 5 homes and teleport to them anytime.
The limit is 100 teleports per day, make sure to use them wisely!
You will have to wait 5 seconds before teleporting, and 30 seconds between two /home teleports. Other teleport types will have different cooldowns, so pay attention to them as well.
/outpost, /bandit - You can teleport to the Outpost or Bandit Camp.
You can teleport to each location 10 times within the same day.
You need to wait 2 minutes between trying to teleport to each location again.
/tpr, /tpa - You can teleport to your friends or enemies. /tpr is for requesting, /tpa is for accepting the request.
The limit is 100 teleports per day.
You need to wait 60 seconds between two /tpr teleports.
Other Commands
/ipanel show, /ipanel hide - Don't like the ingame clock on the top left? Hide and show it with these commands as you wish.
/pm - Use it to send private messages to other players.
/sil<link> - Loads an image from the link and puts in on the sign you are looking at.
/voteday - At midnight (in-game time), a vote will open. If there are enough votes, the second half of the night can be skipped.
Donations
While the server is not dependent on donations, any cash donated will be used to fund server costs.
Feel free to donate through PayPal using the link below. If you want to donate using any other payment method, email me at rust@stryp.win and we can arrange it.
